Title: Application Developer
Department: Information Technology
Reporting To: IT Manager
Location: San Diego
Travel: none
Compensation: Exempt/Salary commensurate with experience

Basic Functions:
This position will have one or more years experience in business applications development. Intermediate knowledge of the following software: HTML, MS SQL Server 7.0 or above, Visual FoxPro, Visual Basic, ASP, Windows NT/2000 platform. Good analytical and problem-solving skills. Good multi-tasking abilities. Good organizational skills. Must be able to work alone with a minimum of supervision, but be a team player. Good written communication skills for documentation. Keep abreast of new technology and new software solutions. Telecom experience is a plus.

	Maintain, develop and test web-based applications timely and accurately.
	Communicate and train on new system functionality that was programmed.
	Coordinate all program versions with appropriate systems personnel.
	Troubleshoot web software problems in a timely manner so as not to impact client.
	Work with staff in a timely and courteous manner in resolving issues that are reported to impact client.
	Document problems for management.
	Maintain proper systems documentation.
	Recommend (and aid in implementing) productivity enhancements, quality control enhancements and other opportunities that provide strategic advantage for Company.
	Work on special projects as workload permits, such as develop tools to aid clients, develop enhancements to web programs, etc.
